Practice Overview

Alternative dispute resolution (often called “ADR”) refers to a processes to help parties resolve disputes without a trial. ADR processes can include mediation, arbitration, or a combination of the two. In some jurisdictions for some matters ADR is mandatory before the court has jurisdiction of the case.
