Ms. Ching graduated from the William S. Richardson School of Law, where she served as a writing tutor, senior editor for the Asian Pacific Law and Policy Journal, and secretary for the Advocates for Public Interest Law. She completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She was a member of Psi Chi (National Honor Society in Psychology) and Phi Thea Kappa (International Honors Society). In her free time, Ms. Ching serves as a Young Lawyer Division Oahu Director (2017-present), and volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate and at Volunteer Legal Services of Hawaii. Previously, she was a Hawaii Emerging Legal Practitioner Fellow. Ms. Ching also works as an Equal Employment Opportunity specialist serving Navy Region Hawaii. She has experience working with the American Civil Liberties Union and extensively with the Hawaii State Legislature.
