Philip A. Okney
Practice Focus
Mr. Okney has practiced before all RMI courts, tribunals and administrative bodies, as well as being active at legislative hearings. As legal counsel and delegate, he has represented the RMI before the World Health Organization, International Monetary Fund, the World Bank and numerous United Nations conferences. Mr. Okney has tried all manner of cases, including complex commercial litigation, and customary land matters. Mr. Okney defended the $150MM Nuclear Claims Fund against claims resulting from the islanders exposed to excessive doses of radiation.
