Auralou B. Sabangan graduated with degrees in Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Bachelor of Laws from the University of the Philippines (Diliman). She is admitted to the Philippine Bar. She joined a law firm in Makati City, Philippines as an associate attorney. Previous to that, she was a student apprentice at a law firm in Makati City, Philippines. Auralou came to Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands in 1986. She worked as a legal assistant at different law firms. She currently works as a paralegal at O’Connor Berman Dotts & Banes.

Practice Focus

Before coming to Saipan, Auralou had a general law practice in the Philippines. As a paralegal in Saipan, she provides case management support to the attorneys from initial client interview through trial or case resolution, including legal research and writing, discovery procedures, and non-litigation matters. She provides assistance in areas of family law, employment law, business disputes, personal injury, probate, criminal, medical malpractice, appeals, corporations, and real property transactions. She was the case administrator in a mass torts litigation involving a drug manufacturer. She assisted attorneys in a class action defending large garment manufacturers in federal court.
